73% of coding beginners quit within 3 months. The #1 reason? Tutorial hell. Watch. Pause. Rewind. Repeat. Never ship. It's the trap that kills developer dreams before they start. At BuildForStudents, we believe the fastest path from beginner → developer is building real projects not binge-watching courses. If you're stuck in the loop, here's your sign to close the tab and open your code editor instead. What's the first project you actually built from scratch? #learntocode #coding #developerlife #100daysofcode #buildinpublic #BuildForStudents

Today marks Day 1 of my "Newbie to CM" competitive programming vlog series.** 🚀 It is one thing to solve problems in isolation, but building a daily habit and documenting it in public brings a whole new level of accountability. In this video, I am setting the baseline, diving into the initial setup, and breaking down today's logic. As someone who spends a lot of time developing algorithmic training tools like CP Pilot over at cpbrains.space, I know firsthand that the initial climb is where the most crucial learning happens. This series isn't about just showing the wins; it is about raw progress. I will be documenting the daily highs, the inevitable 'Wrong Answer on Pretest 1' moments, and the core concepts required to push to the next rating tier. Check out the first video below, and let's see where the rating stands by Day 100. 📈 What was the biggest hurdle you faced when you first started your coding journey? Let me know in the comments! 👇 Join me with this journey on Discord : Link in first comment. #CompetitiveProgramming #SoftwareEngineering #BuildInPublic #Codeforces #LeetCode #100DaysOfCode

Day 147 of #100DaysofCode After watching “How To Make Coding ADDICTING, Like A Video Game” by Sajjaad Khader, I gained a new angle on how I think about consistency. As Khader stated, “Most people don't quit coding because it's hard, per se. They quit because they don't know where to start, what resources to follow, or what to do when they're stuck.” Three Key Points: • Know your personal why: Is learning to code career-related, creativity enhancement, or to advance problem‑solving skills? • Love the repetition: 30 minutes to solve one problem, or the syntax of 20 small lines can progress into bigger results. • Live in the growth zone: “The goal is to live in the growth zone where the work is hard enough to stretch you, but not so hard that it breaks you.” ✨ Necessary obstacles can be vital for personal expansion. What’s your ideal minimal daily coding commitment that still feels like reaching progress? #100DaysOfCode #Code #STEM https://lnkd.in/eya-H9D3

Day 30 of 100 days. After teaching and learning for a while… One thing is very clear: The biggest challenge isn’t coding - It’s consistency. 👉 What I now live by (and teach): * Show up daily * Do something small * Stay committed Consistency will take you further than talent. #FrontendDevelopment #100DaysOfSolvingCodingProblems #WebDevelopment #CodingTips #LearningTips #SoftwareEngineering

🧠 Programming is not just about writing code. It teaches you things most people never realize: → How to break down complex ideas clearly → How to think step by step, without skipping → How logic shapes every decision you make → How creativity and structure can live together Michael Hawley said it perfectly: "What I like about programming is that it really helps you think about how we communicate, how we think, how logic works, how creative arts work." You're not just learning a skill. You're learning how to think. And that stays with you — far beyond the screen. Happy weekend, devs. Keep building. Keep thinking. 🚀 #Programming #CreativeThinking #DevMindset #WeekendVibes #Developers #StudentDev #100DaysOfCode

Empowering the next generation of builders. 🚀 Coding shouldn't be about fighting with installations or getting lost in random tutorials. It should be about the thrill of solving your first challenge and the pride of seeing your skills grow. We built Codeiyo to give students a structured, zero-install environment where they can go from their first line of code to building real projects, all in one place. The journey starts here. Code. Learn. Build. From Day One. 💻 #EdTech #CodingForKids #Codeiyo #FutureOfEducation #LearnToCode

💡 STOP THINKING. START CODING. Ideas are everywhere — but execution is rare. Every great app, every powerful algorithm, every breakthrough started with one simple step: writing the first line of code. You don’t need perfect logic. You don’t need the best setup. You just need to begin. 🚀 Progress beats perfection. 💻 Practice builds confidence. 🔥 Consistency creates mastery. So today, don’t overthink. Open your laptop. Write something. Break something. Fix something. Because in the world of coding, action is the real superpower. #Coding #DeveloperLife #Programming #TechMotivation #LearnToCode #Consistency #BuildInPublic
