This is the #1 mistake that gets people rejected in tech interviews. 🛑 Giving textbook definitions is a waste of time. The interviewer knows you just "read these things today." What they really want are USE CASES. ▪️ How have you used it? ▪️ Why did you choose that service? ▪️ What was the COST impact? That's the difference between sounding like a student and sounding like an engineer. #CloudElite #InterviewTips #TechInterview #CloudComputing #InterviewPrep #GetHired #CloudCareer #UseCases #AWS

You can be a brilliant developer... and still fail the tech interview. Why? Because interviewing is a separate skill. You don't just need to know the answer. You need to be able to: * Communicate your thought process clearly (while someone is watching). * Handle ambiguity in a system design prompt. * Manage the clock during a live coding problem. * Narrate your career story with impact. You wouldn't run a marathon without training. Why walk into a high-stakes interview without a practice run? Tech Intervu provides realistic mock interviews with industry experts. Get actionable feedback before it's the real thing. Stop guessing. Start preparing. https://lnkd.in/guCH-zCx

💡 How Big Tech Really Evaluates You in Interviews It’s not just about whether your code runs. Interviewers look for how you think and communicate. Here’s what matters most: 🗣 Communication: Can you explain your thought process? 🧩 Problem-Solving: Do you break problems down logically? 🧼 Code Quality: Is your code clean and easy to read? ⚙️ Efficiency: Do you understand trade-offs in time and space? 🔄 Adaptability: Can you handle follow-up questions? Good candidates make their code work. Great candidates explain their choices, test edge cases, and write production-quality code. Focus on showing your thinking — not just your solution. 💪 #TechInterviews #CareerTips #CodingInterviews #SoftwareEngineering

I still remember my first Big Tech interview. I had memorized every framework, practiced 50 mock questions, and read every “crack the interview” guide I could find. But the moment I entered the call — NONE of that mattered. NONE. They didn’t ask me to recite a model. They asked me to explain how I think. That’s when I realized — the biggest misconception about Big Tech interviews is that you need to sound “perfect.” You don’t. You need to sound real. Curious. Thoughtful. It’s not about having the smartest answer — it’s about showing how you approach problems, how you collaborate, and how you stay grounded when things get tricky. So if you’re preparing for your next interview — stop rehearsing scripts. Start practicing thinking out loud. That’s what interviewers remember. That’s what gets you hired. ♻️If you think this post it's helpful, repost it to help more people are looking for jobs. #interviewprep #tech #jobs #careeradvice #growthmindset #EmpowerYourCareer

Lessons from hiring 200+ people at Fusion Flow Tech 🙋 After conducting hundreds of interviews, I can tell you this isn't about perfect resumes: What actually impresses us: ✅ Curiosity about our problems - Candidates who ask smart questions - People who show they've researched us ✅ Evidence of problem-solving ability - Side projects don't need to be big - Show your thinking process ✅ Real communication skills - Can you explain complex things simply? - Are you listening or just waiting to talk? ✅ Ownership mentality - You don't wait for permission - You take responsibility ✅ Honesty about what you don't know - No one knows everything - But everyone should be eager to learn What doesn't matter as much as you think: - Perfect GPA - Impressive job titles - Years of experience alone - Matching 100% of job requirements The best employees I've hired? They had hunger and humility. Everything else can be taught. If you're interviewing soon, focus on showing genuine interest in solving problems, not just landing a job. What interview tips would you add? 👇

The biggest lie in job interviews and the software world is when someone says, “our code is clean.” The truth is, whether it’s a big company or a startup, most large projects are not clean — they are a mess. And yet, these same companies expect you to solve rocket science problems in a notepad during interviews. Like… if I’m going to maintain legacy code anyway, why make the interview so hard? 😇 Around 80% of big projects in the world are far from “clean code.” In short: everyone talks about clean code, but almost no one actually writes it.

🚫 Stop hiring only for technical skills! People in hiring positions, it’s time to stop focusing only on technical questions during interviews. Whatever the skill is, AI can already do it and if it can’t yet, it eventually will. Instead, focus on understanding the person in front of you. Ask questions that reveal how they think, how they approach problems, and how they adapt to new challenges. Because if someone has the right mindset, they can learn any technical skill. But if you hire someone just for their technical ability and they lack the right mindset they’ll struggle to grow and evolve. 💡 Hire for attitude and adaptability. Skills can always be learned but mindset can’t. Would love to hear your thoughts, have you seen something that supports this?

Dear #HiringManagers, Technical interviews should reflect real-world problem-solving. Instead of “write a function that reverses a string,” give me a feature to implement in your codebase. That’s where true value, creativity, and engineering skill shine.

I’ve come to realize that as developers or job seekers, technical interviews can be really tough especially when you’re just starting out or don’t have much hands-on experience. Looking back, though, I’ve learned that every interview, whether successful or not, is a valuable experience. Sometimes, we don’t fail a question because we lack the knowledge, but due to nerves, overthinking, or simply being caught off guard. Even the simplest coding challenge can feel overwhelming in the moment. But with time, we grow. We build confidence, improve our problem solving mindset, and learn how to handle pressure better. Each experience, pass or fail moves us a step closer to becoming better developers and stronger professionals. #CareerGrowth #DevelopersJourney #TechnicalInterviews
