JavaScript vs TypeScript — A Beginner-Friendly Explanation. If you are starting your journey in web development, you’ll often hear this question: JavaScript or TypeScript? Here’s a simple way to understand the difference. JavaScript - Flexible and easy to learn - Allows you to build features quickly - Errors are usually discovered while the application is running - Suitable for small projects and quick development TypeScript - An extension of JavaScript - Adds structure and clarity to your code - Helps identify issues before the application runs - Preferred for large applications and team-based projects Key takeaway * JavaScript gives speed and flexibility. * TypeScript provides safety, clarity, and long-term maintainability. 👉 TypeScript does not replace JavaScript. It improves JavaScript by making development more reliable and predictable. For beginners, starting with JavaScript is natural. As projects grow, TypeScript becomes a valuable upgrade. #JavaScript #TypeScript #WebDevelopment #FrontendDevelopment #SoftwareEngineering #Learning

Most beginners jump straight to frameworks like React. I chose to go back to basics with vanilla JavaScript instead. 🧠 I built a Stories app using HTML, CSS & JavaScript (ES5) — not for show, but to strengthen my core fundamentals. No libraries. No shortcuts. Just logic, structure and pure JavaScript. This project helped me sharpen: • DOM manipulation • Event handling • Managing UI state • Writing cleaner, structured ES5 code • Understanding user interactions Sometimes the fastest way forward is to go back to the roots. Master the fundamentals, and frameworks become easier. 👉 Curious to know: What core concept should every frontend developer master before moving to frameworks? 🔗 Live Demo: https://lnkd.in/gSmm2N_g 📂 GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gRVcS5vq #BuildInPublic #JavaScript #FrontendDeveloper #WebDevelopment #LearningJourney #100DaysOfCode #Coding

⚡ Client-side vs Server-side JavaScript Many beginners hear these terms and feel confused. But the idea is actually very simple 👇 🖥️ Client-side JavaScript Runs in the user’s browser Handles UI, buttons, forms, animations Makes websites interactive and fast Example: Form validation before submitting 🌐 Server-side JavaScript Runs on the server (using Node.js) Handles databases, authentication, APIs Keeps sensitive logic secure Example: Checking login credentials 🔑 In simple words Client-side = what users see & interact with Server-side = what happens behind the scenes Both work together to build modern web apps we use every day. 👉 Learn both sides of JavaScript, and you’ll become a complete web developer. 🚀 #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #Frontend #Backend #NodeJS #Programming #Coding #Developers #SoftwareDevelopment #TechLearning #FullStack #CodingTips #DeveloperLife

⚙️ What is a JavaScript engine If you write JavaScript code, have you ever wondered who actually runs that code? 🤔 That’s where a JavaScript engine comes in. 💡 In simple words A JavaScript engine is a program that reads your JavaScript code and converts it into instructions the computer understands — so your code can actually work. 🌍 Where do JavaScript engines run? Inside web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge On the server using Node.js In some desktop and mobile apps 🔧 What does it do? Reads JavaScript code Converts it into fast machine code Runs it quickly and efficiently Manages memory and performance 🚀 Popular JavaScript engines V8 → Used in Chrome and Node.js SpiderMonkey → Used in Firefox JavaScriptCore → Used in Safari 👉 Without a JavaScript engine, your JavaScript code is just text with no action. The engine is the brain that brings your code to life. #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #Programming #Coding #Developers #TechLearning #Frontend #Backend #NodeJS #SoftwareDevelopment #CodingTips
