Tech tip - making #javascript and #css slightly smaller I save space by setting a variable called '_' to 'this' at the start of a function that uses 'this' a lot. Saying 'background: aqua' is shorter than saying 'background-color: aqua'.

Day 1 — Reverse a String (JavaScript) Problem Write a function that reverses a given string. Example Input: "hello" Output: "olleh" Approach Start from the last character of the string and iterate backwards. Keep adding each character to a new string until the loop finishes. Code function reverseString(str){ let reversed = "" for(let i = str.length - 1; i >= 0; i--){ reversed += str[i] } return reversed } console.log(reverseString("hello")) What I Learned Basic string traversal and how iteration works from the end of a string. #javascript #frontenddeveloper #codingpractice #dsa

What To Know in JavaScript (2026 Edition). Part 3. RegExp Improvements. Working with user input in RegExp has always been risky — special characters could break your patterns. New improvements solve this with safe escaping. A small but critical improvement: - fewer bugs - safer handling of user input - easier dynamic regex creation #frontend #webdev #javascript #performance

JavaScript: Mirror Distance Problem Day 5 👈 Goal: Find the mirror distance of a number — the absolute difference between the number and its reversed form. Approach: Reverse the given number using modulo (%) and division. Subtract the reversed number from the original. Take the absolute value to ensure a positive result. Example: Input: 123 Reversed: 321 Mirror Distance: |123 - 321| = 198 #JavaScript #TypeScript #DSA #CodingInterview #ProblemSolving #FrontendDevelopment #Developers #100DaysOfCode

localStorage vs sessionStorage – Quick JavaScript Tip Need to save data in the browser? Here’s the simple difference: localStorage saves data forever (until you delete it) and works across all tabs. sessionStorage only lasts while the tab is open — perfect for temporary stuff. Bonus Tip: Wrap them in a small helper to avoid JSON.stringify errors and try/catch boilerplate.I use localStorage daily for user settings and sessionStorage for multi-step forms.Which one do you use more? And what’s the coolest (or worst) thing you’ve stored in them? Drop your answers below #JavaScript #WebDev #Frontend #CodingTips

💡 Pure vs Impure Functions in JavaScript 🔹 Pure Function Same input → Same output. No side effects. const add = (a, b) => a + b; 🔸 Impure Function Depends on or changes external state. let total = 0; const addToTotal = (v) => total += v; 🚀 Why it matters? Predictable code. Easier testing. Fewer bugs. 👉 Write pure functions whenever possible. #JavaScript #CleanCode #FunctionalProgramming
