Thrilled to dive into the world of FastAPI! 🚀 This modern Python web framework for building APIs is truly a game-changer. I'm currently exploring its key features like blazing fast performance, automatic data validation using Pydantic, and the incredible out-of-the-box interactive documentation (Swagger UI/ReDoc) based on OpenAPI standards. The use of standard Python type hints not only makes the code cleaner and less error-prone but also significantly speeds up development time. Looking forward to building some high-performance, production-ready REST APIs and microservices! Has anyone else recently made the switch to FastAPI? What's your favorite feature so far? Share your thoughts and projects below! #FastAPI #Python #WebDevelopment #API #BackendDevelopment #Programming #Coding #Microservices #SoftwareDevelopment #TechLearning #Pydantic

Ever wondered why Python developers swear by virtual environments? Here's the game-changer most beginners miss! Think of virtual environments as separate workspaces for each Python project - like having dedicated toolboxes where Project A's tools never interfere with Project B's requirements. This isolation prevents the nightmare scenario where updating a library for one project breaks three others. Why it matters: Different projects need different package versions. For Eg, web scraping project might need pandas 1.3, while your machine learning model requires pandas 2.0. Virtual environments let both coexist peacefully on the same machine. Fun bonus tip: Install the cowsay library in your virtual environment and run cowsay "Happy coding!" in your terminal. Yes, an ASCII cow 🐄 will literally wish you well while you debug! #PythonProgramming #VirtualEnvironments #CodingTips #MediaPilot

Source: https://lnkd.in/dKSdxb5S 🚀 Python’s rise from scripting to enterprise was fueled by its simplicity—but dynamic typing posed risks. Mypy bridges the gap with gradual static checks, catching bugs early without sacrificing productivity. 💡Example: A function expecting a float got a string—mypy flags it instantly! 🚨 This is a game-changer for teams scaling Python projects.Don’t let runtime errors derail your workflow. Start integrating type hints today. #Python #Static Typing #Dev Ops

Navigating API choices often involves balancing complexity and ease of use. While direct API interaction offers control, third-party wrappers can provide a smoother experience, especially for those less experienced with programming. Python often emerges as a preferred choice due to its accessibility. The optimal path depends on individual needs and technical proficiency. #API #Programming #Python #SoftwareDevelopment #Technology

[TECHNOLOGY POST] 🦀 Rust Meets Python: Why We’re Using uv At MIYA, we maintain several Python projects — from internal tools to production services. Over time, we’ve run into the usual challenges: - Slow dependency installs - Environment inconsistencies - CI pipelines that take too long - So we adopted uv, a Rust-powered Python package manager — and it’s been a game changer. Here’s what we like: ⚡ Blazing fast installs and dependency resolution 🧱 Deterministic builds with lockfiles 🧰 Built-in virtualenv management 🧩 Drop-in replacement for pip and venv It’s clean, modern, and fits perfectly into a Rust-meets-Python workflow. Rust brings the performance and safety; Python keeps the flexibility and ecosystem. We love tools that make development faster and more reliable — and uv does exactly that. 👉 Check it out: https://lnkd.in/d2HF9tcg #Python #RustLang #uv #DevTools #DeveloperExperience #Engineering

Type hints have quietly transformed the way Python developers write code. What started as an optional “nice-to-have” feature in PEP 484 has now become a foundation for building robust, large-scale backends - especially when working with frameworks like Django and FastAPI. In my latest Medium post, I dive deep into modern type hinting in Python, moving step-by-step from basics to advanced patterns, and exploring how they make your APIs cleaner, safer, and easier to maintain. If you’re working on backend systems or large codebases, this guide will help you level up your code quality and developer experience. 👉 Read here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gVrY4nSW #Python #Django #FastAPI #BackendDevelopment #TypeHints #SoftwareEngineering #CodeQuality #CleanCode #Mypy #PEP484 #DeveloperExperience
