A lot of people call themselves MERN Stack Developers. Most are just building UIs and calling APIs. MERN is much more than that. If you actually want to stand out and get hired, you should be confident with things like: • JavaScript internals (event loop, async behavior, promises) • How a request flows through Express middleware and routes • Proper state management and caching on the frontend • When to use CSR vs SSR and why (not just “because Next.js”) • Debugging end-to-end: frontend → backend → database → frontend • Clean backend architecture, REST principles, logging • Core security basics: auth vs authz, CORS, common attack vectors If you’re solid in most of these, you’re already ahead of the crowd. How many of these do you truly understand? What would you add to this list? Let’s raise the bar for what “MERN Stack Developer” really means. #MERNStack #FullStackDeveloper #WebDevelopment #JavaScript #NodeJS #ReactJS
Calculator and a To-Do app wont make you a Developer 😂
