Most developers think AI coding means GitHub Copilot suggesting your next line. They're already two levels behind. The way software gets built isn't just evolving — it's being completely rebuilt from the ground up. AI has moved from autocomplete to autonomous. If you don't know where you stand in that shift, you're already falling behind the developers who do. What you'll learn: → The 5 distinct levels of AI-assisted development → Where most developers are stuck right now → What separates level 2 coders from level 5 builders → How to level up before the gap becomes unclosable Find out which level you're at — and where you need to be. https://lnkd.in/dEfEPdVq #AIcoding #SoftwareDevelopment #DeveloperSkills #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfWork #TechEducation #AItools #Programming #CodeSmarter #AIDecoded

Everyone wants to jump into AI, Web3, and high-paying tech roles… But what if the real power lies somewhere far less glamorous? What if spending countless hours mastering the basics—loops, arrays, logic, problem-solving—is actually where everything changes? Here’s something strange to think about: A student spent months doing nothing but learning the fundamentals of coding. No fancy projects. No hype. Just pure basics. One day, he said, “Now I finally understand everything.” That same night… he disappeared. His laptop was found still running. A program—one no one had ever seen before—kept executing endlessly. Line after line of code… appearing on its own. No one knew what it did. No one knew how to stop it. And the most chilling part? Every concept in that code traced back to the basics. So here’s the real question: ->Are you ignoring the fundamentals… or are you building something powerful enough that one day, it might surprise even you? #Coding #Programming #TechJourney #LearnToCode #Fundamentals #DeveloperMindset

AI is making average developers faster… and exposing weak engineers even faster. Why? Because now: You don’t need to memorize syntax You don’t need to write boilerplate You don’t need to spend hours debugging simple issues So what’s left? Architecture Decision making Understanding real-world problems And that’s where many struggle. AI didn’t break the industry. It just removed the hiding places. #SoftwareDevelopment #Developers #Coding #TechCareers #Programming #FullStack #AppDevelopment #AIChaps #TopAIDeveloper #TopMobileAppDeveloper

Claude Code is powerful… but I can’t afford it as a student. So I went on a deep dive to find FREE alternatives that actually feel like AI agents in your terminal. Here’s what surprised me 👇 🔹 Gemini CLI Google’s official agent — insanely fast + handles massive codebases (1M context). Free tier is more than enough for daily use. 🔹 Aider Feels like real pair programming inside your terminal. Even writes Git commits for you. 🔹 Cline High autonomy. Can run commands, read your entire project, and fix bugs across files. 🔹 OpenHands Fully open-source agent built for complex, multi-step engineering tasks. Honestly… this changed how I code. We’re entering the era of “Vibe Coding” — where you design systems and let AI handle the grind. If you're a student or dev trying to build faster without paying subscriptions… this is worth exploring. 👉 Which one have you tried? Or is there a better tool I should test next? #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Coding #Developers #Programming #Tech #SoftwareDevelopment #AItools #Productivity #OpenSource #BuildInPublic #StudentDeveloper #CodingLife #DevTools #FutureOfWork #Innovation #TechTrends #LearnToCode #VibeCoding #Claude #Gemini #Aider

If you don't figure out the right problem or can't decompose it, LLMs will confidently solve the wrong one. Many software developers haven't learned this skill, because it isn't taught. Let's fix this. #SoftwareEngineering #Programming #SoftwareDevelopment #Skill #LLM #AI

# 1. AI Tips & Tricks If you've started to utilise Agent Skills and you find it a headache to copy and paste the skills folder into all the different agent directories (.github, .claude, .qwen, .opencode etc) then look no further. Here's a simple guide for you to follow: - Create a simple bash script that symlinks a single `skills` folder to all the agent directories. The main skills folder can be under `.agents/skills`. - Make sure to add just the `skills` folder for each of the agent directories to the `.gitignore` file as you don't want to add them to source control since you already have a single skills folder which can be easily managed and maintained. - This also allows any new developer to clone/fork the repository and then simply run this simple bash script to automatically obtain all the skills under their agent tool of choice. I hope this helps! Follow me for more tips and tricks :) #AI #AIAgents #SoftwareEngineering #Programming #Coding #OpenAI #Claude #GitHub #OpenCode #Qwen
