Small Code Changes Can Be Big

Every developer knows this one 😄 “It’s just a small change…” But somehow it turns into: new logic, edge cases, testing, regression fixes… and of course, a few unexpected surprises along the way 🚀 Small on the screen ≠ small in the code. #programming #softwaredevelopment #webdevelopment #developerlife #coding #tech #developerhumor #coders #buildinpublic #devcommunity

Don’t confuse clients with too many technical details. They don’t care about things like +176,410 added, -17,455 removed, they just care about results. Developers and designers often try to show everything they can do, but clients don’t need that. They just want results that help their business.

So true 😄 Non-technical clients often see it as a "small change" because they don't see the hidden complexity behind it.But at the same time, when the client is technical, they usually understand exactly why it's not that small. In the end, it's all about perspective.. what looks small on the screen can be huge in the system.

Exactly 💯 Clients who are unfamiliar with the system's backend often assume it’s a minor task. In reality, it involves a complex logical flow that must be modified even for these so-called minor changes.
