Computing power isn’t about speed alone. It’s about architecture. When problems scale, serial thinking breaks. Parallel systems take over. • CPU: optimized for sequential logic • GPU: built for massive parallel workloads • Thousands of cores working simultaneously • Designed for scale, not shortcuts This shift is why modern AI, simulation, and data science exist. #GPUComputing #CPUVsGPU #NVIDIA #ParallelProcessing #AIInfrastructure #TechArchitecture #FutureComputing

This wasn’t a demonstration by NVIDIA scientists; this was the Mythbusters giving a demonstration about the differences between CPU and GPU at an NVIDIA sponsored conference in 2008.

This was one of the most overrated and unrelated marketing campaigns compared to the actual product that I have ever seen

Not the same at all. No movement. No calculations

All I did was perform a function the fire function everything else was lined up the first AI actually looks like it was shooting on its own, but it could’ve had parameters already recorded for its aim.

Cpus get a bad name... They handle so much more at one time with mor busses than a GPU. A GPU is dedicated and even if it handles multiple things, it's a tiny fraction of what a CPU handles at all times

The music is freaking stupid. Why do so many people feel they need to overwhelm dialog and clips with obnoxious music that is entirely too loud?

What they are doing counts. Those two dudes have figured out more about what human physics is about than any scientist lab

Cool story bro. Next time, make sure your “NVIDIA scientists” are not public figures lol. We’ve all seen mythbusters.

Why does this demonstrate anything? They put a bunch of paint balls in tubs so they came out in the pattern of the painting they fired all at once big deal.
