Day 25 -What I Learned In a Day(JAVA) Today I learned about conditional and control statements in Java, which allow programs to make decisions, repeat tasks, or alter the flow of execution. Three Types of Control Statements in Java: *Decision Statements (Decision Making) Used to execute code based on conditions. Examples: if / if-else / nested if-else – Executes code if condition is true or false. switch – Executes code based on the value of a variable. *Looping Statements: Used to repeat a block of code multiple times. Examples: for, while, do-while. *Jump Statements: Used to alter the normal flow of execution in loops or methods. Examples: break, continue, return. Day 24 Deep Dive into Java: Exception Handling, Interfaces & Abstraction Today, I explored Java more deeply, focusing on: ✔ Exception Handling ✔ Exception Hierarchy ✔ Interfaces ✔ Abstract Classes Understanding how Java structures its error-handling mechanism through the Throwable hierarchy gave me clarity on how exceptions are classified into: Checked Exceptions (compile-time) Unchecked Exceptions (RuntimeException) Errors (serious system-level issues) I also strengthened my understanding of abstraction by revisiting the difference between Interfaces and Abstract Classes: 🔹 Interfaces define behavior and support multiple inheritance. 🔹 Abstract classes allow partial implementation and can include constructors and instance variables. This learning helped me better understand how Java enforces design principles like abstraction, modularity, and clean architecture. This meme perfectly explains three important functional interfaces in Java: ✅ Predicate – Just like checking an ID to verify if someone is above 21. It takes input and returns true or false. ✅ Consumer – Like receiving and eating a pizza 🍕. 🚀 Moving Zeros to the End Using Java Streams I recently solved the classic “move zeros to the end” problem using a Java Streams approach, a bit different from the traditional two-pointer technique. The goal is simple: 👉 Move all zeros to the end 👉 Maintain the order of non-zero elements 🔹 Approach 1. Used Stream.concat() to concatenate two streams: 2. First stream, filters all non-zero elements 3. Second stream, filters all zero elements 4.
