Last updated: 6 months ago

Who can use this feature?

Hiring Assistant is available as an add-on for LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Professional Services Plus (RPS+) customers. To use Hiring Assistant, you must be assigned the Hiring Assistant Permission and set your language preference to English. We’re gradually making this experience available, and you might not have access to it at this time. Learn more about Hiring Assistant here.

Hiring Assistant in LinkedIn Recruiter helps you improve hiring efficiency by assisting with tasks like sourcing candidates, sending messages, and managing project workflows.

Hiring Assistant is enabled at the seat level. By default, Hiring Assistant is enabled when you create a project or post a job manually. However, you can also add Hiring Assistant to an existing project or disable it in a new project where it has been enabled. These flexible settings allow you to customize how Hiring Assistant supports your hiring efforts.

Important to know

You can enable or disable Hiring Assistant for projects you own. If a project was reassigned to you, you’ll need to re-enable Hiring Assistant on the project.

To enable Hiring Assistant in a project you own:

  1. Click Projects at the top of your Recruiter homepage.

  2. Click your project title. You can use the search bar and filters on the left to locate your project.

  3. Click Project settings.

  4. Under Workflow settings, next to Hiring Assistant automation, click Add to project to turn on Hiring Assistant for the project.

Hiring Assistant will start sourcing candidates aligned with your project details or job post. If additional information is needed, it will prompt you to provide details in the Activity log.

To disable Hiring Assistant in a project you own:

  1. Click Projects at the top of your Recruiter homepage.

  2. Click your project title. You can use the search bar and filters on the left to locate your project.

  3. Click Project settings.

  4. Under Workflow settings, next to Hiring Assistant automation, click Remove from project to turn off Hiring Assistant for the project.

If you disable Hiring Assistant in a project, it will remain active in other projects. The project where Hiring Assistant is disabled will still display all previously sourced candidates, their summaries, and past Hiring Assistant activity. However, Hiring Assistant will stop sourcing new candidates, evaluating candidates, or assisting with sending messages until it is re-enabled. Additionally, the Hiring Assistant section will no longer appear on the project’s Overview page.
