From Learning Management, go to Select Insights > Internal Mobility.
We’ve created a new tab to allow admins to understand the internal mobility funnel beyond job post views to see intent, via employees signaling interest and unique job viewers across roles to understand frequency as well as depth.
This reporting is available to customers with a LinkedIn Learning Career Hub account.
The LinkedIn Learning Internal Mobility reporting feature is available in all LinkedIn Learning languages.

This report helps connect employee intent to action. By surfacing where employees are showing interest in internal roles, you can guide career conversations, recommend targeted learning, and retain top talent through meaningful mobility. It’s a clear way to tie learning to career outcomes—and show the impact of your internal mobility strategy.
This section helps admins track employee interest in internal mobility over time. Admins can see:
- How many employees are signaling interest and engagement with internal job views
- What roles and functions are employees exploring
- Where to focus development efforts based on demand
As an admin, you can use the report to align learning, talent planning, and career support with opportunities employees are seeking.
This section shows employees signaling interest, or the total number of unique employees who are opted into the Interest in Internal Roles signal.
You can expand this section to show job function and title in “View by role”.
Employees can opt in to Internal Mobility interest signal in the following entry points:
- LinkedIn Learning: Jobs at your Company tab.
- Employees can opt-in and adjust their opt-in settings from this module at anytime.
- LinkedIn.com: Employees can opt-in from two points:
- LinkedIn Profile – From the "Open to" drop-down and "Finding new internal roles”
- LinkedIn Jobs – Select Preferences > Internal Jobs
- Employees can opt-in and adjust their opt-in settings from either of these modules at anytime.
Keep in mind the following conditions when opting into the interest signal.
- By starting the opt-in process, employees are asked to specify for what kind of roles, location-types, and locations in which they are interested.
- Employees can choose up to 3 titles, up to 3 location types, and 3 locations in which to show interest.
- Employees that opt to share their interest with recruiters and hiring managers at their company appear in Recruiter search under the Internal Candidates spotlight, when they apply “Interested in internal roles” filter.
- This signal also automatically sets up internal job alerts for the employee based on the set preferences so employees don't miss a chance to apply to a new role.
This section shows how many employees are exploring internal roles and how often as a signal of intent to move internally.
- Unique job viewers: Total unique viewers at your company who viewed an internal job posting on LinkedIn.com or LinkedIn Learning.
- Unique job views: Total number of times jobs at your company were viewed by employees on LinkedIn.com or LinkedIn Learning.
