Skills your learners are developing (Table 1 on the Skills Insights page): This data is based on activity on LinkedIn Learning (across all content). If a learner clicks on a content item that’s tagged with a specific skill, this will be captured in the first table on the Skills Insights page.

• Explicit skills – Skills that users add to the Skills & Endorsements section on their profile.
• Implicit skills – Derived from several sections, for example, from text that is part of a user's job history (Experience section).

How: Review the second table of the Skills Insights page to see details by location, job functions, and job titles, and compare your organization’s skills profile with that of your peers.

You can pin skills at the top of the Skills Insights page and review the top content. You can also recommend content to learners directly from the Skills Insights page or choose to add content to learning paths/collections. View the top content by clicking on Show details next to the actual skill name in the table.

You can review trends for skill development over time by leveraging the tiles of the skills pinned to the top of the page or by clicking on Show details in the first Skills Insights table. In the table, you’ll also see Hours viewed and Unique learners.
