Dashboard violation and account suspension notifications in Learning

Last updated: 2 years ago

If you do not renew your Learning license by its renewal date, your learners may lose access to LinkedIn Learning. Review the sections below to see how you can avoid license suspensions, and how you can remedy suspensions caused by a violation.

Dashboard violation notification

If your LinkedIn Learning license has passed its renewal date and you didn’t renew all seats from your previous contract, you may receive a dashboard violation notification within Learning if all previous seats are still active. The notification text will read, "One or more of your licenses are in violation. Update your licenses in Account Center before due day MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS to avoid suspension."

Account suspension

Account suspension occurs when a dashboard is past the 10-day violation period and access to the product for end users has been removed. Admins will still have access to manage licenses, if needed.

If your dashboard is in violation due to having more active seat holders than available seats, please contact your relationship manager to add additional seats to your contract or remove or park licenses in your dashboard.

Important to know

Please ensure that you correct the violation within 10 days. If you do not, your learners will lose access to LinkedIn Learning.

Only Learning admins can remove or park seat holders. Contact your Learning admin if you need to make changes to the number of seats on your Learning license.
