    As the leader of the project to adopt cloud-based technologies, I facilitated daily stand-up meetings to review and approve research on feature engineering for predictive analytics modeling. I delivered the first enterprise project using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, establishing our company as a thought leader in these technologies. I managed a team of Data Scientists to build machine learning models on Azure ML Studio and oversaw the delivery of the predictive analytics endpoint and the consumption of the predictions in analytic reporting.

    I completed baseline models using various algorithms and conducted a proof of concept for predicting confidence intervals using conformal predictions. I also finalized feature importance analysis to inform inference requirement decisions and reviewed predictive model metrics to identify the best model for deployment. I set up an inference web service endpoint using the selected and retrained model, established governance processes, and transitioned role-based access to functional stewards. I also worked with enterprise architecture to plan and guide stewards through the set up of the production environment. Through my leadership, we were able to successfully adopt cloud technologies and implement advanced predictive analytics in our operations.

Primary benefits at 1st 30 warehouses are resulting in increased customer satisfaction through earlier product delivery and cost-savings through better utilization of fleet services, more deliveries per route, fewer miles per delivery, and lower labor costs for the handling of bills of lading and proof of delivery documents. Solution includes packaged software for route mapping, mobile devices, custom-developed software for route optimization, and data interfaces to warehouse management system. Managed all stages of systems development needed to interface orders, shipping, and warehouse management data with route planning system. New components were developed in Java, ABAP, and XI. Coordinating, managing and accountable for all aspects the solution roll-out and operations change management needed to convert 30 branches to new automated route planning capabilities and delivery information management. Managed Project Support activities including post go-live urgent care/hyper care for a duration of several weeks per branch location in addition to Project Development activities for each location implementation including requirement gathering, coding, testing, training and transition.
