Jeffrey Bussgang and Flybridge did extensive work on this question a few years ago - I believe their data was less conclusive regarding Israeli companies that stayed put vs. relocated. Also "relocating" can mean different things - I believe Flybridge found that in many (most?) cases splitting the founding team (one founder relocates to US, another "stays puT to manage the local/Israeli team) produced optimal results.

The latest data shows that the average apartment price in Israel has dropped by about 80,000 shekels, with the sharpest declines seen in Herzliya, Rishon Lezion, Kfar Saba, Ashkelon, and Ashdod. But the big question remains: is the real correction still ahead of us? At the end of the day, what truly matters is not just a temporary dip but a real stabilization of the housing market, where prices fall by tens of percent from today’s levels. Only then will young families and future buyers finally be able to plan their lives with certainty and hope. Because let’s be honest: the prices in Israel are still extremely high, not only compared to global standards but also relative to what this market has looked like over the past few decades.
