Just launched the new Hudson Valley Home Media website. This project came from empathy for integrators paying monthly for websites that look beautiful… but aren’t getting found. A site can look incredible, but if the SEO foundation isn’t there, it’s like opening a luxury showroom in the middle of the desert. So we built this with an Integrator-First mindset. Meaning the goal isn’t agency awards or flashy design trends, it’s helping integrators get discovered by homeowners who are already searching for what they do. That’s the philosophy behind Integrator-First marketing at Lantern Room Marketing For Hudson Valley Home Media, the approach was simple: combine premium design with a strong local SEO foundation. We focused on fundamentals that actually drive visibility: • Local SEO built around Rockland and Westchester County • City and county signals throughout the site • Homeowner search language in URLs and H1s (what people actually type into Google: "motorized blinds" gets 50k searches per month while "automated shades" gets 500) • Clear page structure — What / Why / How • Images named with real search phrases and local relevance We also intentionally avoided things that often weaken search visibility: • moving elements and heavy animations that slow pages down • collapsing large blocks of content that hide important text from the page structure • generic industry language instead of the terms homeowners actually search Those elements can look impressive visually, but if Google can’t clearly understand what you do and where you do it, the site becomes much harder to find. Because of that, I offered three integrators currently paying monthly for marketing a simple one-year challenge: • $2,000/month • 17-page website upfront • one new service page or blog each month • one email campaign per month The goal is simple: Build real local authority over 12 months and measure the results.
