The PrePros—Patrick Burke, Danica Rosen, Tori Mortenson and I teamed up with help from Daniel "dickey" Abedon to create a free, production-focused education series bringing up-and-coming creatives together to learn, connect, and build community. We did this because…how many of us have stories about getting to set as younger creatives and having to pretend we knew what was going on? And we were lucky to get there at all vs what a new generation of creatives are facing. A lot of younger creatives who came up during COVID never got that opportunity and rarely do now (it's become a privilege of the very senior who had opportunities to get trained as they came up). So, this is meant to help change that, or at least demystify what great production looks like. Our first event is March 31 at Mischief @ No Fixed Address with amazing people from Mischief, Park Pictures, and Work Editorial on the panel including director duo Terri Timely. More product accuracy exploration with Kling AI 3 Omni. It is pretty amazing. I gave it a reference sheet showing all angles of the vehicle and a text prompt with no information about the make, model, trim color etc. "Create a video of this product-accurate vehicle driving on the Pacific Coast Highway." Without calling for a specific vehicle in the text prompt, ostensibly little information is taken from the Kling base model: The AI is mostly relying on the reference sheet to know what the vehicle should look like. Cross checking between the reference image (in the comments) and freeze frames of the video, the structure of the vehicle holds up well. Headlight, profile, grille, dual exhaust, even the logo/badges stay pretty solid. Kling AI is unlocking huge potential for accurately depicting unique objects and products in AI video without pre-training.
