This Earth Day, take time to think about tech you don't need anymore, and what usually happens when you're done with it. CNET recently dug into US adults' plans for their old devices and a few points stood out. ♻️ For some of us (29%), old tech is collecting dust at home, which could be recycled or traded-in for cash or credit. ♻️ 22% of US adults throw them in the trash -- which is illegal in some states, pollutes our environment and is a fire hazard. ♻️ Only 39% recycle old devices, but plenty of retailers make it easy to.
