I have often had to use the phrase “I am here for the composites and the technology, not the drama.” By sociological nature, the reaction to poor behavior and negativity typically gets more attention than the act itself. Be careful with active listening and adlib conversationalism. I tend to engage in both as those are opportunities for deep learning. However, passive-aggression often hides in those spaces as the opportunity for atypical access to someone who is exceptional. Be exceptional! Never get offended by anyone you would not want to be or offensive to someone you would not want as your Leader. #leadershipdevelopment #excellenceinallthings

A Human Landing System (HLS) is a spacecraft in the NASA Artemis program that is expected to land humans on the Moon. These are being designed to convey astronauts from the Lunar Gateway space station in lunar orbit to the lunar surface, sustain them there, and then return them to the Gateway station. As of 2024 NASA intended to use Starship HLS for Artemis III, an enhanced Starship HLS for Artemis IV, and a Blue Origin HLS for Artemis V. Starship has been called out to be late the last couple of years. Blue could have made the Artemis V flight schedule but Artemis III and IV needed to happen first. Just this year, SpaceX re-focused on the Lunar problem it signed up for by removing their original Mars plans/target. This week, additional NASA push is required for the commercial partners to bring viable solutions a year or two later than originally agreed to and tested in LEO to verify they will work. Space is hard, and the cost and the proof that manned spacecraft work shall always be borne by NASA, as far as we can tell. https://lnkd.in/e7KsEA6S
