    A new client approached us with the desire to optimize their forklift fleet composed by equipment from 21 different vendors acquired over the years directly from dealers, as the result of three different companies' merging. Working together with the corporate procurement, we listed all the equipment by location, defined a basic set of models and configurations and covered aspects related to contracting, shipping, repairing and maintaining to more than 30 locations across US/Canada.     A new client approached us with the desire to optimize their forklift fleet composed by equipment from 21 different vendors acquired over the years directly from dealers, as the result of three different companies' merging. Working together with the corporate procurement, we listed all the equipment by location, defined a basic set of models and configurations and covered aspects related to contracting, shipping, repairing and maintaining to more than 30 locations across US/Canada. Project is in full swing and our goal is expand the current 35% share of wallet by employing fleet management and superb customer service.

Additionally, I assisted with the development and delivery of courses to improve employees’ performance (effective communications) and partnered with Franklin Covey to become a certified internal instructor for the ‘Helping Clients Succeed’ sales program which was delivered across the globe.

    One of our strategic clients challenged us with shortening delivery time by holding inventory in multiple locations across the country (hubs). Our first approach was understand their reasons and goals; evaluate their purchasing history and fleet age to locate the hubs; and partner with strategic dealers to hold the inventory. Internally, we created a flow diagram with the steps to follow each and every time a new order would be received to determine what to ship, where to ship it from and how to satisfy all the different aspects of the business process. Implementation took about 4 months, from the first contact with the customer to when the first unit was delivered from a hub. It was a win-win proposition that addressed the client's need with minimal disturbance to our internal procedures.
