Post-Grad Marketing Job Series | Pt. 1 Kicking off my marketing mock-project series with Gem Studio ✨ Gem Studios is a Utah-based brand known for its hands-on jewelry-making experience, where customers design and create their own custom silver rings using real gemstones. Since launching, the brand has expanded beyond Utah to states including California, Hawaii, and Arizona. Founded in 2017 by Matt James, Gem Studios began as a fundraiser to support an orphanage in Uganda. What started with selling rings from home evolved into something much bigger—transforming the product into an experience. This shift is what truly sets Gem Studios apart in the jewelry industry and helped fuel their success both online and locally. For this mock project, I focused on a bold red colorway to align with Gem Studios’ branding and vibrant aesthetic. The project includes trend-driven TikTok content ideas, a mock Instagram layout using the red colorway, influencer collaboration concepts, and content creator invite ideas.
