  • Solar Two Wheeler

    The project aims and design and development of solar powered two wheeler. The vehicle uses Brushless DC motor ( 48 Volts, 750 watts) and is powered by four 12 V lead-acid batteries connected in series. MPPT control algorithm is implemented with Buck-Boost converter to harvest solar energy that can be used to charge the batteries. Over voltage protection and low voltage cutoff are also provided.

  • Solar powered Rural India

    Developed a system which use solar energy to light up one LED bulb, a small fan and a mobile charger by using solar PV panels. The system efficiently converts solar energy to electricity and is stored in battery. The system is rugged, modular and uses less space than the usual when not in use.

    This Project is based upon the advanced use of occupancy and motion sensors in our day to day lives. Here, we are using it to compile how much amount of electricity is wasted everyday. Hence the device is programmed such that it automatically switches off the lights when unoccupied. The amount of energy saved by this device can be calculated with the help of a data logger device (also designed by us).
