During Richard’s time as a Sr.ISD at CATHEXIS, I had the privilege of being his manager. While being on my team, I witnessed great collaboration between Richard and other members of our immediate team, as well as other members on our contract. Richard rose to every challenge I gave him and far exceeded my expectations. Richard is much more knowledgeable on web-based design and creation than I am, and never once did he make it seem like my requests were impossible. He found a way to make them happen, every single time. Richard would frequently go out of his way to lift burdens off of other teams, thus putting more work on his shoulders. Richard was the first to ask questions when clarity was needed or request for us to hop on a call to iron things out. Richard is very proactive and efficient in his work. This efficiency allowed for us to minimize and get ahead of risks while not just meeting 100% of our deadlines, but delivering products early most of the time. Richard is comfortable with the uncomfortable. Opportunities for professional growth, while they can be uncomfortable for some in the moment, but not for Richard. During his time as Sr. ISD, we changed programs and processes within the company a handful of times, causing us all to need to learn new processes and technology. While this could have been a hindrance, Richard, proving his dedication to his work, embraced the changes and quickly adapted, ensuring his quality of work never wavered.
