One of the reasons why #Story Design is so successful in elevating your message is that the process helps you to slow down and #reflect. Why is this so important? 🔸 Often people with an important message will start designing a slide deck, which usually leads to missing the point of the message and worrying too much about what's on the slides. The process of Story Design doesn't start with a slide deck. It starts with the message. 🔸 When leaders, speakers, salespeople start crafting a message, they often forget to consider their audience. Taking time to reflect on who the audience is strengthens the message...every time. Story Design offers a guided path of reflection that helps unearth the raw materials for the message...and the story. 🔸 So many times, when writing an important message, the deliverer of the message thinks, "What good story could I tell that would immediately engage my audience?" The story is lame. It's unrelated to the message. But Story Design approaches this in reverse, helping the speaker unearth the purpose of their message first before diving into designing the story.
