There is a big difference between building an ecosystem and just buying market share. We just returned from the ASI Executive Business Summit in Florida, and it was a powerful reminder of what intentional growth looks like. Each year, ASI brings together its reseller partners to share the company vision and collaborate. It’s a working session focused on alignment, strategy, and how we collectively serve nonprofit organizations better. What stands out to me most is their approach to growth. When ASI acquires companies, the focus is on extending and complementing the technology for nonprofit clients. Not buying multiple products that serve the same purpose only to sunset them later. That stability matters. It protects the investment our clients make in their systems. This year’s content was strong and practical. We discussed GEO strategies for web content, explored how AI is being incorporated into the products we all sell, and reviewed the roadmap so we stay aligned across the portfolio. External consultants joined us to share insights on change management and trends within the association industry, which added valuable perspective. And hosting it at Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood, Florida made for a wonderful setting to connect. Most importantly, it reinforced the power of community. When partners share tools, ideas, and vision openly, everyone benefits. Our clients feel it. Our businesses grow stronger because of it. That is what a true ecosystem looks like.
