Claude Desktop App dev server preview is awesome. The chrome plugin is incredibly buggy and has been frustrating for me. Claude themselves can't even fix it. so you take a problem (technical) figure out the solution with o3 have it come up with a plan claude implements then have o3 write good documentation then claude follow the pattern again leveraging prompts from o3 then with good documentation everywhere you can start asking claude like "what's going on here?" "let's add it like our normal pattern" the AI becomes like an integrated interface to the code

The infra buildout for AI that is coming is far far bigger than any single hyperscaler’s balance sheet. We’re not in the 2010s mindset of single cloud, single provider.

"Context engineering” is just prompt engineering with added context. The LLM looks at two things: 1. Prompt = Guard rails, Format, Instructions, etc... 2. Context = What documents/code/chat history to include, Summary, etc... How is it different from plain prompt engineering? The queries are heavily augmented here, with chat history summary and other relevant documents. Think of it as RAG + structured prompts. Calling it "engineering" is a stretch. It's too broad and domain-specific to be a science. Looks like VS @Code Insiders can now run local tasks with Claude right in the editor – no more context switching. That's good. One less thing. Claude Agent mode drops in, handling file ops, code edits, and autonomous workflows locally. #AICoding #VSCode #ClaudeAI
