Let’s say your organization receives invoices from multiple vendors, in both paper and digital form. Here’s how DocuShare Go might handle that: Vendor sends a paper invoice → You scan it via the MFP (ConnectKey) into DocuShare Go. The system uses OCR to convert the invoice to text; then the AI classifies it as “Invoice” and extracts fields: vendor name, invoice number, date, total amount. Based on rules: If amount > $5,000, route to Senior Finance for approval; else route to Staff Accountant. The document is automatically placed in folder “Invoices/2025/October/[VendorName]”. The invoice is now searchable; later you ask “Which invoices from XYZ Corporation over $10,000 were approved in the last quarter?” The semantic search returns the results. When the invoice file becomes 3 years old, a retention rule triggers review/disposal. If someone on your team wants to find all contracts that mention “auto-renewal” signed in the last year, they can ask in natural language and get summary/results.
