Chris Degnan joined us in the office two weeks ago. He scaled Snowflake as CRO from $0 to $3B in revenue, and now advises Outtake. He started as Snowflake's founding AE back before they even had a pricing sheet. A decade later, he has lessons. Here’s what he emphasized and what we’re building toward: 1 - Know your product: Sales leaders need to be students of their product. You can’t sell the impact if you don’t understand the tech behind it. 2 - Focus on Impact: At Snowflake, that meant eliminating weekend-long query babysitting; with Outtake, it’s less friction, more focus. 3 - Stay close to customers: rapid feedback keeps development relevant and agile.
