How do you choose the right [insert any marketing specialist]? Yep, this advice works for any specialist: graphic designers, website designers, social media managers, paid ads, SEO, etc. Go with the one who asks about your brand first. Everything you do should build on your brand foundation. If they don’t ask, they aren’t protecting your ROI.

Meet your best fit donors: the ones with a personal connection, a shared experience, and a readiness to share. Start with real names and stories, then build two or three personas from the patterns. When you focus here, every campaign gets clearer and more effective.

This! Don’t hire one person and expect them to be an expert in everything. Marketing is an expansive field, spanning several professions. Strong, effective marketing is an investment.
