Most solo RevOps/CRM consultants are running two jobs: delivery and pipeline. When delivery spikes, pipeline doesn’t “slow down.” It resets. That’s not a discipline problem. It’s a missing Closed-Loop Cadence. Default loop: Action → Outcome → Emotion → Reset Operator loop: Action → Outcome → Micro-correction → Adjust → Repeat Micro-correction is two lines after a rep: Result: (observable) Next time I will: (one change only) If delivery is deleting your selling week, don’t “do more.” Install a rep that survives overload. More companies need to read this... Twice! Poor client success management is one of the most expensive mistakes in enterprise SaaS. And too many companies are learning that the hard way. When clients invest, integrate, and commit, they expect a true strategic partner. If what they get instead is silence, superficial check-ins, or reactive support, the outcome is predictable: lost trust, stalled expansion, and eventual churn. Clients should not have to chase their vendors to care about their success. The companies that understand this build client success teams that drive outcomes, not just relationships. They will earn long-term growth. Those who do not will soon see it reflected in their retention metrics. This is not about making clients happy. It is about making them successful. There is a big difference.
