Newly leak documented shows T-Mobile is reportedly phasing out most of its 4G LTE network by 2028 to make room for 5G Standalone. What you need to know: - Starting Jan 2026: Business restrictions begin - By 2028: Most LTE spectrum moved to 5G - One 5MHz LTE channel stays until 2035 (degraded) - Early 5G phones (2019-2020) may need upgrades If you're still on LTE or have an older 5G device, start planning to upgrade in the next 2 years.
