I have a love/hate relationship with spreadsheets. On the one hand, they're quite possibly one of the most versatile tools available. Moving data around in a format that's almost universally portable, slicing and dicing, filtering, searching, analyzing. The problem is that we have a tendency to deploy it as a solution instead of a tool. This week's "Credentialed in Spirit" outlines an approach to getting away from reliance on spreadsheets so you can create a more consistent data set and improve member, provider, and staff experience in the process. If you've got spreadsheets full of TINs and NPIs that you use to manage busted provider data, it's worth a read.

If you already have a stable ELT setup for ingesting data from Klaviyo into BigQuery and are considering migrating to the preview Klaviyo connector "Data Transfer", don't do it. You can set it up in seconds with mouse clicks but you lose error logging, the ability to do anything about the errors, control over back-fills, and other important things.
