“Doug Chartier is a consummate professional. He is incredibly intelligent, curious. and hardworking. His ‘super power’ is an uncanny ability to communicate super complex information in simple, intuitive, illustrative ways that compel anyone (including a 'layman' with no context) to understand. I would daresay he is close to a savant in this regard. I greatly appreciated working with Doug (on numerous occasions) because he was able to take my uber mathematical and systems based thinking and distill/summarize it in a manner that was absolutely compelling to stakeholders of all kinds (including most importantly executives)--in ways that I simply could not, despite the ROI, operational advantages, improved outcomes, etc. Besides his professional expertise, Doug is funny, cool, stylish, and interesting in a way that most are not. He was a valuable member of every team I was part of, and I have no doubt he can add deep/unique skills to any company/project he is involved with. In my 20+ years of experience I've never met anyone like him before or after. It is a sincere pleasure and honor to celebrate his incredible awesomeness with the world.”

A review and critique of emotional intelligence measures
Journal of Organizational Behavior
Emotional intelligence measures vary widely in both their content and in their method of assessment. In particular, emotional intelligence measures tend to use either a self-report personality-based approach, an informant approach, or an ability-based assessment procedure. In this paper, the measurement and psychometric properties of four of the major emotional intelligence measures (Emotional Competence Inventory, Emotional Quotient Inventory, Multifactor Emotional Intelligence Scale…

In particular, emotional intelligence measures tend to use either a self-report personality-based approach, an informant approach, or an ability-based assessment procedure. In this paper, the measurement and psychometric properties of four of the major emotional intelligence measures (Emotional Competence Inventory, Emotional Quotient Inventory, Multifactor Emotional Intelligence Scale, Mayer–Salovey–Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test) are reviewed, the comparability of these measures is examined, and some con- clusions and suggestions for future research on emotional intelligence measures are provided.
