*PHDCCI Kashmir Holds Interactive Meeting with Executive Director of AIIMS Awantipora, Discusses Operational Roadmap and Local Opportunities* The Kashmir Chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) today held a significant interactive meeting with *Dr. Sachidananda Mohanty, Executive Director of AIIMS Awantipora*. The meeting, chaired by *Mr. A P Vicky Shaw,* Chairman of PHDCCI Kashmir, aimed to discuss the development and future impact of the premier healthcare institution in the region. The PHDCCI delegation, which included core members Mr. Javaid Anim Co Chair, Mr. Sajad Shah, Ms Madeena Mir, Er Owais Raja, Mr Shahid Khan, Er Bilal Ahmad Bhat and Mr. Iqbal Fayaz Jan, engaged in a detailed discussion with Dr. Sachidananda Mohanty on the project's progress and its potential to transform the healthcare landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, Dr. Sachidananda Mohanty provided crucial insights into the operational timeline, confirming that the state-of-the-art AIIMS Awantipora is projected to become fully operational by 2026. He emphasized that the institution will offer comprehensive health and healing facilities on par with those available at AIIMS Delhi, ensuring that the people of Kashmir have access to world-class medical care without having to travel outside the region. The members of PHDCCI extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sachidananda Mohanty for spearheading the establishment of this reputed national institution. The discussion also highlighted the plethora of opportunities that will arise for the talented youth of Kashmir, particularly in the fields of paramedics and faculty positions. It was jointly pledged to encourage and prioritize the inclusion of local talent in the institution's workforce. A key point of consensus was the emphasis on encouraging the participation of women in the healthcare sector, with a specific focus on opportunities in paramedics and nursing staff at AIIMS Awantipora.
