NEW AV Transit EV deploys in FL & GA. Beep, Inc., a leading U.S. provider of multi-passenger autonomous vehicle solutions, announced in November two new autonomous electric transit deployments in Florida and Georgia. The projects will utilize production-ready Karsan Automotive Autonomous e-JEST vehicles, delivered through Karsan’s official distributor Damera Corporation, and enabled by Beep’s alliance with ADASTEC Corp.

The deployments combine ADASTEC’s SAE Level 4 automated driving software and sensor suite with Beep’s AutonomOS™ remote management and orchestration platform, integrated into Karsan’s Autonomous e-JEST. Together, the technologies are designed to support safe, reliable shared transit operations in mixed traffic and challenging weather conditions while improving first- and last-mile connectivity.
The vehicle platform was showcased through live demonstrations at the Florida Autonomous Vehicle Summit in Orlando.
In Altamonte Springs, Beep will expand the CraneRIDES program in partnership with the city, connecting shared autonomous shuttles directly to the SunRail station and regional transit network beginning in 2026. CraneRIDES is recognized as the first permanent autonomous vehicle program deployed by a U.S. city, establishing a national benchmark for municipal AV adoption.
In Atlanta, Beep plans to partner with Atlanta Beltline to deploy the city’s first fixed-route shared autonomous transit service, targeted to launch ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The pilot aims to demonstrate how autonomous electric transit can enhance mobility access, connectivity, and urban resilience for residents and visitors alike.
The Karsan Autonomous e-JEST is a fully certified, production-grade platform with more than 60 years of OEM heritage. It meets FMVSS and ADA requirements, has completed Altoona testing, and is supported by OEM warranty and series production.
With over 10,000 base vehicles produced globally, including more than 1,000 electric units, the e-JEST provides a proven foundation for scalable autonomous transit deployments in North America.
EVinfo.net congratulates Alex Poirot and the Beep team on this amazing news.
As the only independent multi-brand vehicle manufacturer in Turkey, Karsan is very interesting. We are interested in other news about Karsan's EVs in the USA.
