Prosperity Bank has agreed to acquire Stellar Bank for $2 billion. Both banks have their headquarters in Houston. The deal strengthens Prosperity share of deposits in the Houston market and will make Prosperity the 2nd largest Texas-based bank (behind Cullen/Frost). The financing process for Glenfarne’s Texas LNG continues to make strong progress. Glenfarne, along with advisors @Mizuho and @CIBC, has assembled a group of leading financial institutions to serve as Initial Coordinating Lead Arrangers ("ICLAs"). Upon the satisfaction of certain conditions, these ICLAs will each underwrite $750 million for a total senior facility of $5.7 billion, which will comprise a senior construction facility and a revolving working capital & Letter of Credit facility. The assets offer a 100% HBP footprint with meaningful exposure to a diversified set of oil, NGL, and gas reserves in the Goddard (Springer), Mississippian and Woodford formations and the opportunity to partner with a premier operator.
