The security of your data is of the utmost importance, and in order to maintain the highest levels of protection, we periodically and proactively update our app packages. As part of these protocols, we recommend Salesforce customers with LinkedIn Sales Navigator Advanced or Advanced Plus contracts using Embedded Profiles in their Salesforce regularly update the app package to ensure you have the latest functionality and bug fixes.
Important to know
• Only a Salesforce admin can update the app package.
To update your Sales Navigator app package on Salesforce:

Sign in to Salesforce and navigate to Setup > Home.

Enter Installed Packages in the quick find search bar.

In the left rail, click Installed Packages.

Look for the app titled SN for SFDC and check the version number your organization currently has installed.

Click Visit AppExchange displayed at the top of the page.

On the AppExchange, search for LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Click the search result titled LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Salesforce.

Click Get It Now displayed at the top right of the screen.

Ensure the correct Salesforce account is connected.

Click Install in Production.

Click Confirm and Install.

Select Install for All Users and click Upgrade.

Return to Salesforce, and confirm in installed packages that the app now has the latest version as seen in the AppExchange.

Assign the OAuth User permission set for all relevant users.

To be able to access Embedded Profiles, and Embedded Experiences, ensure that you've set up the required user permissions.
