In LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you can draft and send unique, personalized messages to potential leads with Generative AI assistance using Message Assist. Learn about data and privacy for Message Assist Generative AI (GAI).
The content you input into the Generative AI (GAI) features won’t be used to train, fine-tune, or improve our GAI models without your approval. The content you input is only used to provide and improve individual customer experiences, and is not shared across or between other customers. Please note if you choose to provide optional feedback within the product, we may use the inputs and outputs relating to that feedback to improve our products in general.
For the purposes of generating a custom, personalized message, the GAI model used for Message Assist will use data attributes sourced from public LinkedIn member profiles and publicly available data from Bing. Customer data, other than seller or admin data entries, are not used by the feature. No customer personal data or member personal data is used by Message Assist to train the model.
Since personal data isn’t currently used to train the GAI models for Message Assist, there is no similar setting in Sales Navigator similar to the one you find in your LinkedIn profile settings. The setting in your personal LinkedIn account controls whether LinkedIn can use your data to train generative AI models that are used for content creation on LinkedIn.
