Find Key People in CRM Embedded Experiences

With the Find Key People in CRM Embedded Experiences feature, you can uncover the right path in and discover hidden allies to save time prospecting directly within your CRM. You have more control over pinpointing leads that more closely match your target buyer's profile, and you can access more insights about the leads.

With the Find Key People feature, you can:

  • Save time prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling
  • Leverage powerful insights to take immediate action
  • Access and act directly within one of your key sales surfaces – your CRM

Important to know

The Find Key People feature is supported for Sales Navigator Advanced Plus users who’re using HubSpot's Smart CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Oracle Sales, or Salesforce.

After your CRM Admin has installed the latest the version of the app package and enabled CRM Embedded Experiences, you will need to sign in to Sales Navigator using the component. Within your CRM, you will see a blank window with a message to sign into LinkedIn Sales Navigator. After signing in, you will notice the Find People tab in your CRM.

The Find People tab displays a list of unsaved leads at the account matching your target Personas. From this tab, you can:

  • Create and edit your Personas - If you would like to create a new persona in your CRM, click the persona drop-down menu, and choose Create new persona. If you would like to modify an existing persona, click Edit persona.

    Here's a tip

    Any change that you make to personas using the CRM Embedded Experience will reflect in Sales Navigator too.

  • Change the selected Persona to display leads matching your target characteristics.

  • Message new leads - After you find a lead that matches your target profile, you can send that lead an InMail message by clicking the message icon displayed next to the name.

    Here's a tip

    You can click the  icon to tailor your outreach, or you can check the Log to CRM checkbox to have this InMail logged as an activity within the Salesforce record. This is only available for Advanced Plus users with CRM Sync enabled.

  • Save the lead to a lead list by clicking Save.

  • View insights about your saved leads like following your company or mutual connections.

  • View CRM badges displaying if a lead is already in the CRM and needs to be updated - available only with Sales Navigator Advanced Plus with CRM Sync enabled.

  • Create or update a CRM lead or contact directly using the CRM Embedded Experience - available only with Sales Navigator Advanced Plus with CRM Sync enabled.
