Integrating SAP SuccessFactors with LinkedIn Recruiter through Recruiter System Connect (RSC) helps you streamline your hiring process by syncing candidate data, job postings, and recruiter activity between platforms.
What this means for you
Recruiter System Connect (RSC) enables seamless data exchange between LinkedIn Recruiter and your SAP SuccessFactors ATS. With this integration, you can:
- View LinkedIn profiles directly in SAP SuccessFactors
- Export candidates from LinkedIn to your ATS
- Sync application history, notes, and interview feedback
- Improve collaboration across your hiring team
Access the steps below to activate Recruiter System Connect and SAP SuccessFactors ATS.
You can connect your SAP SuccessFactors ATS with LinkedIn Recruiter via the LinkedIn onboarding widget so you can access real-time candidate data without switching platforms.
You’ll need to complete the following actions, in sequence, to activate RSC in SuccessFactors. If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the steps for each contract.
- Step 1: Assign SAP role-based permissions
- Step 2: Set up RSC Hiring API integrations in SuccessFactors
- Step 3: Connect individual SuccessFactors user accounts to LinkedIn Recruiter
- Step 4: Sync your data
See Integrate RSC with your SuccessFactors Recruiting Instance for the SAP SuccessFactors activation guide.

Important to know
Step 1: Assign SAP role-based permissions
Similar to the LinkedIn Recruiter Admin license, SAP SuccessFactors requires that the person configuring the connector have the correct permissions. The user will not be able to access any of the configurations without these permissions.
To assign RSC permissions in SuccessFactors:
- Type and select “Manage Permission Roles” in the SuccessFactors search bar.
- Select Recruiting Admin > Edit > Add Permissions.
- Enter "LinkedIn" in the search bar and press Enter.
- Under Administrator Permissions select Manage Integration Tools, then select the Manage LinkedIn Setup and Implementation checkbox.
- Under User Permissions select MDF Recruiter Permissions, then select the Edit, Import, and Export checkboxes under LinkedInDeveloperApplication and LinkedInIntegrationConfiguration, respectively.
Step 2: Set up LinkedIn Hiring Integration API application in SuccessFactors
Once you have assigned permissions, configure your RSC instance by provisioning the LinkedIn API application in SuccessFactors. This action allows you to activate integrations in one instance, across all packages, within the LinkedIn onboarding widget.
Follow the steps below to configure the LinkedIn Hiring Integration API application in SuccessFactors.
