Enable automatic Connected Project creation in Recruiter

Last updated: 2 months ago

Who can use this feature?

Connected Projects
and Hiring Assistant are currently available to a subset of LinkedIn Recruiter customers whose language setting is English and whose ATSs support Recruiter System Connect Plus (RSC+). We’re gradually making these features available, and you might not have access at this time. You can see if your ATS supports RSC+ here. You can learn more about Hiring Assistant here.

Follow these steps to let LinkedIn Recruiter create Connected Projects for new ATS requisitions automatically. This setting can be toggled on or off at any time.

To enable or disable the automation setting, you must be a Recruiter admin on the contract you’re configuring and your company must already have Recruiter System Connect Plus (RSC+) set up with an ATS.

Important to know

Only one contract per company can hold the automation setting at a time. Other contracts show the current selection in read-only mode.

To enable or disable the automation setting:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.

  2. Click ATS and CRM integrations on the left pane.

  3. Click the Connected Projects tab under your ATS.

  4. Next to Automatically create Connected Projects for imported ATS job requisitions without matching projects, click Edit.

  5. Choose one of the following:

    • On: LinkedIn Recruiter creates a Connected Project as soon as an imported requisition has no project match.
    • Off: LinkedIn Recruiter places the requisition into a list accessible from the Projects page.
  6. Click Save.

Notes

  • If you turned automation On, future unmatched requisitions synced via RSC will land in Projects as Connected Projects automatically.
  • If you turn automation Off, recruiters or admins must link or create projects from the Projects page for every imported requisition.
  • Changing the setting on this contract immediately updates the status shown on your company’s other contracts.
