Use Connected Projects to seamlessly manage applicants from your ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter in one unified workspace. Learn more about Connected Projects below.
No. Job requisitions that sync for Connected Projects do not need to be posted to any platform and will not be automatically posted on LinkedIn. If you are a job wrapping customer, you can continue using job wrapping as you do today. Connected Projects will not affect job wrapping.
When your ATS syncs a job requisition into LinkedIn Recruiter, the requisition is placed into a list accessible from the Projects page. Click Connect ATS job requisitions on the Projects page to access the list. What happens next depends on your admin’s settings:
When your ATS syncs a job requisition into LinkedIn Recruiter, the requisition is placed into a list accessible from the Projects page. Click Connect ATS job requisitions on the Projects page to access the list. What happens next depends on your admin’s settings:
- Automatic Connected Project creation OFF (default): LinkedIn Recruiter places new job requisitions into a list accessible from the Projects page. From there, you or the relevant project owner can choose to link the job to an existing project or create a new Connected Project, either one at a time or in bulk.
- Automatic Connected Project creation ON: If the admin has turned automatic creation on and a synced job requisition doesn’t match any existing projects, the job is converted into a Connected Project automatically. Automatically connected projects are accessible from the Projects tab (remove the “Only Searches” filter and select “Show Connected Projects only.”) However, if a match is detected between a synced requisition and an existing hiring project, the requisition will not be automatically connected and you’ll still be asked to confirm which project to link the job to , (or if you want to create a new Connected Project).
If an ATS job requisition that matches an existing wrapped job, you can convert the existing wrapped job project into a Connected Project. Do this by navigating to the wrapped job project and leveraging the Connect your ATS job requisition banner on the project overview. Click Connect, search for your ATS requisition, and connect the requisition to your wrapped job project.
No. A Connected Project follows a strict 1:1 rule with your ATS; one job requisition can belong to only one Connected Project in one contract. If you need to connect that requisition somewhere else, archive (or delete) the original Connected Project first, then link the requisition to a new or different project.
Disabling Hiring Assistant simply stops new AI evaluations; nothing else in the project is removed.
- Existing recommendations stay visible. Any Advance/Review/Archive suggestions Hiring Assistant already made remain on candidate profiles for reference.
- No new candidates will be scored. Applicants added after Hiring Assistant is disabled won’t receive Hiring Assistant evaluations until the feature is re-enabled.
- You can re-enable Hiring Assistant at any time. Once it’s turned back on, it will evaluate any unscored applicants and resume normal operation.
If you'd like to associate a project with a newer requisition from your ATS, you'll have to archive the current project, create a new project, and then repeat the above steps to associate the project to the ATS requisition and select the new project.
There may be a delay in syncing applicants from your ATS, especially if the volume is high. The job could take up to a couple of hours. You can start Hiring Assistant evaluation even if not all of your applicants have finished syncing from your ATS to LinkedIn; Hiring Assistant will evaluate applicants as they sync, and you can review evaluations as they are generated (you may need to refresh your Applicants tab).
In its current state, Hiring Assistant will only review 5,000 applicants per project.
Inside a Connected Project, resumes synced from the customer’s ATS are displayed in the Attachments section in addition to resumes uploaded by the candidate or Recruiter users. Please note ATS resumes may be displayed under unavailable attachment with no preview or download options if they are of an unsupported type (e.g., .txt).
You have to be the project owner to access the Hiring Assistant sparkle and initiate evaluations on the Connected Project. You can make this update in the project’s settings.
Another reason the sparkle may not appear is if you forgot to turn Hiring Assistant on during the project setup flow. Ensure Hiring Assistant is toggled "On" in the project’s settings.
