When you select Add to my jobs on either the Jobs home page or within the job post tab of a Hiring Project, you assign yourself as the job poster and project owner for that job. This gives you access to Apply Starters and keeps your sourcing activity centralized within the project associated with your job post.
As the job poster, your profile may be visible on the job post. You can choose to disable this after selecting Add to my jobs, or at any point later by editing the job.
Check out some frequently asked questions below.
Which jobs are available for the Add to my jobs option?
This option will appear on promoted jobs that have been promoted via backfill, are assigned to the default backfill job poster, and have never been reassigned.
I see a job that’s mine, but I don’t see the Add to my jobs option. How can I add this job to My jobs?
Depending on your permissions, you may be able to reassign the job to yourself. Click on the ellipses menu to the right of the job in the list view, select Reassign, and reassign it to yourself. Otherwise, contact your administrator or the job owner listed on the job to have the job reassigned to you.
Is using the Add to my jobs feature the same as pinning?
No, using Add to my jobs only affects job and project assignment, and will not affect job promotion in any way. If you would like to pin the job to a slot, and you have the appropriate permissions, you can pin the job to a slot after adding to your jobs.
How can I disable the My jobs view and Add to My jobs setting?
An administrator can disable this functionality for the entire contract in the Job Posting tab within Product Settings.
Which admin settings need to be enabled for the Add to my jobs setting to appear for users?
