Provide feedback on a candidate in Recruiter and Recruiter Lite from the homepage

Last updated: 1 year ago

If you have a Hiring Manager license on a LinkedIn Recruiter contract, you can provide feedback on candidates right from your Recruiter homepage. When a recruiter on your contract shares one or more profiles with you to review, you’ll see the number of pending requests next to Give profile feedback on the left rail or the Feedback tab on your homepage.

Here's a tip

Notifications about candidate feedback requests are sent to the primary email address listed on your LinkedIn profile. If you're not receiving these emails, make sure that email notifications for candidate feedback are enabled in Settings & Privacy > Notifications > Hiring someone > Candidate interviews.

To provide feedback on a candidate from your Recruiter or Recruiter Lite homepage:

  1. On your Recruiter or Recruiter Lite homepage, click Give profile feedback on the left rail or click the Feedback tab.

    • On the Feedback tab, click View profiles.
  2. Select the candidate on the left rail.

  3. Select Good fit or Not a fit.

    • You can click Dismiss to delete the feedback request for the candidate.
  4. (Optional) Enter any specific feedback in the text box.

  5. Click Submit.

Important to know

Feedback requests can’t be forwarded to other users. They must come directly from the user in Recruiter or Recruiter Lite. Any seat holder on the contract can view feedback if they have access to the shared project and candidate profile.
