Review email and in-product notifications in Recruiter and Recruiter Lite

When you're impacted by activities on your LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn Recruiter Lite contract, LinkedIn will send you in-product and/or email notifications to prompt you to take action. You have the option of unsubscribing from or disabling all email notifications from LinkedIn Jobs.

Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your enterprise Recruiter account, except for Share for review notifications, which are sent to the email associated with your LinkedIn.com account.

For example, your LinkedIn.com account email address will receive email notifications for connection requests, InMails sent within your LinkedIn.com account, and Share for review notifications. Your enterprise Recruiter account email address will receive any email notifications for activity within your enterprise Recruiter account. You are able to associate the same email address with both accounts.

If you need to update the email address associated with your enterprise Recruiter account, reach out to an administrator on your enterprise Recruiter account. You can find out who your administrator is on your Account overview page.

In-product notifications are accessible via the Notifications icon on your Recruiter homepage, and on your Recruiter mobile app.

Important to know

When a colleague shares a profile for you to review, the Share for review request goes to the email address associated with your LinkedIn.com account.

The table below shows when you get an email and in-product notifications. Some notifications apply only to Recruiter contracts, not Recruiter Lite.

Here's a tip

We try to deliver email notifications within a few minutes. Sometimes system latencies can cause delays in notifications being delivered.

In a few cases, you might not get a notification email at all. For example, if you’ve already checked your notifications in Recruiter, or interacted with the feature that would produce a notification email, before an email is sent, you might not get a notification email. In another example, if you’ve checked your Saved Searches that day, you may not get the daily notification email with new results.
