Save, edit, or delete custom filters in search

Last updated: 1 year ago

You can save combinations of search filters you frequently use in LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite as custom filters. You can also delete previously saved custom filters when you no longer need them. You can’t edit custom filters. Instead, you can save a new filter and delete the old one.

Important to know

Custom filters and saved searches each serve distinct purposes. Custom filters are great for detailed searches when you don't need ongoing alerts. They give you the flexibility to dive deep into the talent pool without tracking updates or sending notifications. You can apply custom filters on top of your saved searches for highly precise, targeted searches.

When you apply custom filters to saved searches, remember that they only refine the candidates who have appeared since your last visit, not the entire list of potential candidates. For instructions on applying a custom filter in your search, see Apply a custom filter in search.
