LinkedIn Scheduler eliminates the back and forth of scheduling initial interviews with candidates by enabling recruiters to automate scheduling through InMail in LinkedIn Recruiter.

To schedule an interview with a recruiter through InMail:

From the Recruiter homepage, click the InMail in the left-hand rail to view the contents of the message.

Click the Messages icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

Click the link after Set up availability link icon to open a new browser window or tab to schedule the interview.
Note: If you don't see Set up availability link, the recruiter hasn't enabled Scheduler and you won't be able to use Scheduler to schedule an interview with the recruiter.

Select a time zone from the dropdown next to Time zone: to see the recruiter's available times in a different time zone.

Under Add your contact information, enter the phone number (required) that you'd like the recruiter to use. You can also add your email address (optional).

Under Add a note, select one of the pre-populated options or select Custom to type in your own response.

Click Confirm to schedule the interview. Click Cancel if you'd like to select a different time.

You'll be directed to a confirmation page, confirming the meeting details, contact method, and a link to the video interview (if applicable).

If you would like to add the interview to your calendar, under Add to calendar, click Google Calendar or Exchange Online/Office 365 (Outlook) Calendar.

If you'd like to reschedule the interview from the confirmation page, click Reschedule under Meeting Details to select a different available date and time.

If you'd like to update your phone number, click Edit phone number under Meeting details. Type in the updated phone number and click Save phone number.

If you would like to ask the recruiter any questions or cancel the interview, click Contact RECRUITER NAME
at the bottom of the page. -
Click on an available time to launch the Schedule a meeting window.

Click Next if you'd like to view available times for the next week.

If you don't see a time that works, click Contact at the bottom of the page to respond to the recruiter's InMail without using the interview scheduler.
Scheduler automatically syncs the interview date and time, in real-time, to the recruiter's calendar and in their time zone. Scheduler sends a confirmation of the meeting details to the recruiter on your behalf.

Open the InMail from the recruiter.

Click the link after View my availability to open a new browser window or tab to reschedule the interview.
