LinkedIn members who indicate they're open to finding a new job on LinkedIn can also indicate if they're open to relocating for a role. Candidates who have indicated they're open to new opportunities and relocation are more likely to respond to a message. This feature helps expand your LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Lite search results to include candidates who have expressed willingness to move to your location if they don't currently live near you.
To search for candidates who are open to relocating in Recruiter:

Run a search in Recruiter.

Click Show filters on the left to expand the search filters.

Click the
Add icon under the Locations filter and enter a location. You can filter for the following location types in Recruiter:- Country
- Metro Area
- City

Click the
More icon on the location to select your priority and preferences, such as:- Must have
- Can have
- Doesn't have
- Current — Only includes candidates who have listed their current location as, or work for a company listed as operating in, the same the location you are searching in.
- Open to relocate only — Only includes candidates who have indicated that they are open to relocate to your location.
- Current or open to relocate — Includes both candidates who have listed their current location as the same the location you are searching in and those who have indicated that they are open to relocating to your location.
Notes:
- If you use the Workplace types filter with the following selections at the same time you use the Location filter, it can impact the way you search in a few ways:
- Onsite — Search results will return profiles of candidates currently residing, or who are open to relocating to, within 100 miles of the selected location. To narrow your search, select Advanced search and use the Postal code / Zip code filter to narrow that radius.
- Remote — Location is not used to return search results, so results may be global.
- Hybrid — Search results will include members open to relocating to the general state/country of the selected location, or to any point within a 100-mile radius. To narrow your search, select Advanced search and use the Postal code / Zip code filter to narrow that radius.
To search for candidates who are open to relocating in Recruiter Lite:

Run a search in Recruiter Lite.

Here's a tip
There is an implied 100-mile radius to any location selection you make. If you’d like to narrow that range further, click Advanced search and use the Postal code / Zip code filter to specify a smaller radius.
