Valid locations and workplace types for Job Posts in Recruiter

You can select from On-site, Hybrid, or Remote in the Workplace field when posting a job from your LinkedIn Recruiter contract.

  • On-site: Employees come to work in-person.
  • Hybrid: Employees work on-site and off-site.
  • Remote: Employees work off-site.

All jobs posted on LinkedIn must have a valid location. A valid location is a city, county, state, country, or country cluster. A country cluster is a broader geographic region made up of multiple countries (ex: European Union).

Who can use this feature?

We’re gradually making country clusters available, and you might not have access to it at this time.

For On-site and Hybrid jobs, you'll need to specify a city or metro-region. You can also add a specific job location address. For Remote jobs, you can choose to specify a city, metro, state, country, or country cluster.

Here's a tip

Enter the location only in English, since other languages aren't currently available for this feature (ex.: "Switzerland" instead of "Schweiz").
